Welcome to RPG Forge

RPG Forge is a text-driven roleplaying game engine that combines the crunch of classic RPGs with AI. NPCs are fully simulated in the background.

Worlds are alive outside the player. Factions wage wars, resources are harvested and replenished.

Any style of RPG game is possible, from surviving a hostile wasteland to running a quiet inn. The catalogue is always growing, and you can build your own game, too.

Deep RPG Mechanics

RPGs are only fun when the mechanics are solid. RPG Forge gives you the tools to make deep, mechanically interesting games that players can really dig into.

Where most AI RPGs fall short trying too hard to mimic the traditional roleplaying experience, RPG Forge combines the deep complexity and intricate systems of computer RPGs with the freedom and captivating narration of tabletop roleplaying games.

AI orchestrates the world.
The engine tracks the numbers.

AI is only used for the things that actually need judgment: who wants you dead, what they try next, how the world responds to you.

So you don't have to waste time arguing with an AI game master. You can just enjoy the game.

Forge Your World

Take fine-grained control and build it exactly how you want, or let AI craft the world with you. Both work, and you can move between them at any point.

The editor is built to be visual, so it doesn't feel like a spreadsheet, while still giving you the control to make exactly what you had in mind.

Create rules with real branching, weighted outcomes and formulas, control exactly how vendors value items, and write elaborate lore for your world.

Fueled by Creativity

AI is useful to help get ideas down, handle complex scripts, and generate images. But to make a good game, it must be guided by someone with a vision.

RPG Forge gives you the tools to modify everything down to the individual pixel. There are no systems that fully rely on AI to do it for you.

Multiplayer Compatible

Open up your campaign to multiplayer at any time. Either invite your friends, or open a public lobby and let anyone drop in and play. You can also browse lobbies to try and find one that suits you.

Everyone acts on the same turn. You can even set a turn timer if you want to keep everyone moving at a solid pace, and the lobby host can change game settings at any time.
